Salesforce Launches NFT Management Platform for Major Brands to Develop Loyalty Programs
Salesforce has launched Salesforce Web3, an NFT management platform that enables its customers to create token-based loyalty programs. The blockchain agnostic platform allows businesses to mint and sell NFTs, track blockchain activity, and access real-time customer data. The software firm rolled out the platform with subscription tiers after a pilot program with clients such as toy manufacturer Mattel, clothing brand Scotch & Soda, and whisky brand Crown Royal, which minted over 20,000 digital collectibles. Adam Caplan, GM of Web3 at Salesforce, said the platform allows brands to access first-party data as regulatory shifts and Apple changes the rules around cookies.
