Sesame Workshop is launching its first digital collectibles, in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) based on Sesame Street characters.

The first NFTs will feature Cookie Monster and will be sold on the VeVe app for $60 each, with 5,555 available. Additional Sesame Street NFTs will be released later in the year.

VeVe, which was founded in 2018, has sold over eight million NFTs to date and offers licensed collectibles from partners including Disney, Marvel, DC Comics and Warner Bros, as well as Star Wars.
